A Wooden Bat Tournament, featuring 13 year olds on eight different teams from around the state, began Friday (May 31st), at Gil Hodges Field on the campus of Saint Joseph’s College, and games on Friday, begin at 2, 4, and 6 p.m., Central Time. The no admission fee event continues Saturday and Sunday, (June 1st and 2nd), and net proceeds from team entrance fees go toward efforts to bring students back to St. Joe. There are no concessions.
