Free aviation summer camp open to any Indiana 8th – 12th grader interested in learning about aviation. Activities will include learning about airports, aircraft, air traffic control, and drones. Attendees may get an opportunity to fly a drone and an aircraft, as well as take a field trip to Purdue’s aviation complex and tour an air traffic control tower, all of which is currently being finalized. The camp will be at Jasper County Airport and will run from July 15th to the 19th. The dates of the tour and flights are currently being finalized and may end up occurring on the 20th or 21st.
